We encourage teachers to prepare materials based on their teaching style, but we will also provide some standard teaching resources for your reference and use to ensure consistency and high quality in the lessons.
Yes, we encourage tutors to be open to interviews or providing paid trial lessons if requested. The first lesson is often regarded as a trial, as it gives students and parents a chance to learn more about you. Be sure to give your best during this initial session!
We recommend conducting regular assessments of students and communicating their progress with parents. You can measure student progress through quizzes, assignments, and face-to-face feedback.
Any changes in schedule, such as adding classes, arranging replacement classes, or changing tutoring times, must be notified to both the parents and the center in advance to avoid errors in calculating tuition fees.
Tutoring sessions will proceed as scheduled during public holidays and semester breaks.
If either party needs to take leave on a holiday, please inform the parent and center 2 weeks in advance to arrange replacement classes. All paid classes are non-refundable and cannot be canceled.
Replacement classes should be arranged within the same month. If a cancelled class cannot be replaced within the same month, the tutoring fee for that class will be paid to the tutor in the month when the replacement class takes place.
Tutor may explain to the parents as all learning schedules are carefully planned by the tutor. Cancelling a class without arranging a replacement will significantly impact the student’s learning progress. Tutors often meet with students only once a week, and cancelling lessons at will negatively affect the student’s learning attitude and consistency.
If a tutor needs to cancel a tutoring session on the scheduled day, please inform the parents at least 3 hours in advance and arrange a replacement session. Please note that frequent last-minute cancellations may create a negative impression with the parents.
If the tutor arrives at the door and the parent notifies the tutor to cancel the class on that day, the center will pay the tutor 50% of the tutoring fee for that class. The tutor does not need to provide a replacement class.
No, we do not charge any commission from tutors. We aim to build long-term collaborations with our tutors. More details will be shared during the interview session.
Payment is calculated based on the number of tutoring sessions. Your payment will be processed through the center. Tutors do not need to collect any tuition fees from parents. We will transfer your pay within the first week of the next month.
If the center receives complaints from parents regarding behavioral issues such as attitude or punctuality, the center reserves the right to replace the tutor for the parents and terminate cooperation with the tutor.
Either party can terminate a lesson for any reason. If the termination comes from the tutor, the tutor must ensure that all parties (the student and the center) are well informed in advance.
If the center discovers that a tutor is attempting to negotiate directly with parents, bypassing the center and violating business ethics, the center will immediately terminate cooperation with the tutor and blacklist them, ceasing all collaboration henceforth. The center will not be responsible for any subsequent incidents.
